We offer three easy options for you to trade in your pre-loved titles.

At this time, Bloomin' Sally's can accept a maximum of 30 books per trade. If you’re looking to rehome a larger library or an estate, please contact us—we'd be happy to explore solutions with you.

  • Sell for Cash

    Receive 30% of the Bloomin' Sally's sticker price. Payment is issued promptly via e-transfer only(No cash is kept on hand, no exceptions.)

  • Trade for Store Credit

    Receive 40% of the Bloomin' Sally's sticker price in store credit that you can use towards any store merchandise.  (Credit cannot be converted into cash.)

  • Donate to the Wild Bloom Collection

    Donate your books and 50% of the sticker price goes back to the community once the book sells. Bloomin’ Sally’s Used Books is proud to support Inclusion NWT.

How It Works

Get in touch with us

To schedule a pickup of your used books, contact us. Bloomin' Sally's will never enter a personal residence and we ask that all books be boxed or bagged for tailgate trades.

We assess the value of your books

We will grade your books according to our grading system for each title we accept.

Cash out, trade-in or donate

Select one of the three options above for the accepted books.

Complete the transaction

We will process your e-transfer, issue your store credit, or record your donation.

Books Not Suitable for Trade or Donation

Bloomin' Sally's does not accept the following items:

  • Hardcovers without dust jackets

  • Water-damaged books

  • Travel guides

  • Books that smell of must or smoke of any kind

  • Encyclopedia sets

  • Heavily damaged books (missing pages, torn pages, severely damaged spines, animal-bitten edges/covers)

  • Magazines and comic books

  • Ex-library books or school textbooks

  • Reader's Digest Editions

  • Harlequin romances

  • Cookbooks (unless specialized)

  • ARC's (Advanced Reader Copies)

  • Children's books
